One person was killed in a crash on Wellington Road 12, northwest of Elmira, on Thursday.
Ontario Provincial Police were called to the scene, between Wellington Road 45 and Wellington Road 86, at around 11:30 a.m.
A 34-year-old from Mapleton Township was pronounced dead at the crash site. No other injuries were reported.
While officers were investigating, they discovered there had been also been three separate collision on the same stretch of road involving a total of eight vehicles.
Wellington Road 12 was closed from Wellington Road 86 to Wellington Road 8 due to the collision, as well as the poor weather conditions.
