Multiple shots fired into Kitchener home

A home has been damaged after a shooting in Kitchener.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating after multiple shots were fired into a home in Kitchener.

Police responded to reports of gunshots in the Ottawa Street South and Trussler Road area on Saturday around 3:30 a.m.

Officers said shots had been fired into the front of a home, but no one was injured.

“Damage was sustained to the house,” said Const. Chris Iden. “I don’t have any information as to what specifically it was, but there were gunshots located on the outside of the exterior of the residence.”

They believe it was a targeted incident.

People in the area may notice officers throughout the day as the investigation continues

Investigators are trying to identify a silver two-door car that was in the area at the time of the shooting.
