The Woolwich Memorial Centre has been chosen as the site of the 2026 Curling Ontario Championships.

The Elmira & District Curling Club, which plays out of the Woolwich Memorial Centre, also hosted the event in 2019.

“Elmira’s dedication to fostering curling and building community spirit makes it the perfect venue for this event, bringing together the top curlers from across our province,” said Matt Allen, executive director of Curling Ontario, in a media release. “We look forward to the excitement and camaraderie that will undoubtedly emerge from this championship.”

The event will run from Jan. 4 to Jan. 11, 2026.

Curling Ontario said more details on the schedule, as well as ticket information, will be released in the coming months.

In the meantime, the committee is looking for volunteers to make sure the championship runs smoothly.
