A driver in Guelph refused to let a collision stop their Timmy’s run.

The Guelph Police Service is trying to identify the driver, who hit a light pole on Tuesday and then left the crash site and went through a Tim Hortons drive-thru.

Witnesses told police the white sedan hit a post in the Silvercreek Parkway North and Willow Road area, reversed, and then pulled into the drive-thru near Speedvale Avenue West.

Officers tried to find the vehicle by following a trail of coolant on the road, but the trail eventually dried up.

They said the vehicle appeared to be a white Kia Optima four-door sedan with a black roof. It also sustained heavy front-end damage from the collision.

Anyone with more information is urged to contact police.
