A driver from Hamilton is facing multiple charges after Ontario Provincial Police said they caught him travelling at more than twice the speed limit.

Officers were conducting speed enforcement on King Edward Street in Brant County on Saturday around 2:21 p.m. when they said they noticed a vehicle speeding along at 101 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

When an officer pulled the driver over, they learned he had a suspended licence due to unpaid fines. He also couldn’t provide proof of insurance.

A 26-year-old Hamilton man has been charged with stunt driving, driving with a suspended licence and failure to provide insurance.
