J.K. Simmons, 61, not just kidding about his ridiculous muscles

Pictures of actor J.K. Simmons showing off his insanely muscular physique have gone viral.

The Whiplash actor can be seen lifting weights and flexing his muscles alongside trainer Aaron Williamson, a U.S. marine and previous trainer for stars like Zac Efron, Jamie Foxx and The Rock.

Simmons is currently getting ready for his role as Commissioner Gordon in the upcoming Justice League movie, taking over the role from Gary Oldman who most recently played the Commissioner in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Trilogy.

Fans are simply left to wonder why in the world the 61-year-old actor is getting so “ripped” for the part.
