A man is being held in police custody after a suspicious death in Edmonton’s Silverberry neighbourhood on Thursday. Police were called to a home in the community around 6:45 p.m. and found a 23-year-old woman unresponsive with suspicious injuries. She was treated at the scene, but died in hospital on Sunday. A man was taken into custody on Thursday. Police say they are not seeking other suspects. The homicide unit is in charge of the investigation and an autopsy will be done on Tuesday.
