Boy grabbed by the neck in Beaumont park, RCMP searching for attacker

RCMP are looking for a man who attacked a boy walking his dog in Beaumont on Tuesday.

Mounties said the boy was in Martine Park with his dog at about 9 p.m. when he was approached by a man who asked him what he was doing.

The man then grabbed the boy by the neck, RCMP said. He ran away after he was bitten by the boy's dog.

The man was described as being 182 centimetres (6') tall, with a medium build and a beard.

He was last seen wearing a black toque, skinny jeans, a gray zippered hoodie, and dark shoes with white soles.
