Downtown Edmonton is a little cleaner after volunteers spent Earth Day spiffing up the city’s core.
The crew, armed with bags and litter pickers, gathered as much garbage as possible.
Edmonton’s Downtown Business Association said about 800 people participated in the clean up.
The collective cleanup effort on Earth Day has been held annually since 2020.
