An investigation is underway into a fatal motorcycle crash Friday night in northwest Edmonton.

At around 11:30 p.m., police responded to reports of a 2012 Yamaha Cruiser motorcycle colliding with a building at 128 Avenue and 120 Street.

Investigators believe the motorcyclist was traveling at high speed east on 128 Avenue headed toward 120 Street when they hit the wall of the Calder Community League.

EMS pronounced the 45-year-old man dead at the scene.

Police say speed may have been a factor.
