Explanations and reactions as Canadians in U.S. for more than 30 days are required to register
Foreign nationals who are in the U.S. for more than 30 days, including Canadians, have a new task on their to-do list as of Friday: Make sure they’re registered with the U.S. government. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said failure to comply with this is a crime, punishable by fines, imprisonment or both.
