The RCMP has issued a Canada-wide warrant for a Moncton man and woman who are charged with first-degree murder and arson.
Police say 20-year-old Marissa Shephard and 18-year-old Tyler Noel are both wanted in connection with the death of 18-year-old Baylee Wylie on Dec. 17, 2015.
Wylie was found dead in a Moncton home after an early morning fire, in an incident the police called "extremely violent."
Another suspect in the death, 18-year-old Devin Morningstar, was arrested in Moncton on Dec. 20, and also faces murder and arson charges.
Police describe Shephard as Caucasian, 5-5 and weighing approximately 100 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair and a tattoo with the name "Stephen" on her neck. She also has a tattoo of a heart on her chest.
Noel is described as a Caucasian male with a medium complexion, 5-8 with a medium build, and weighing approximately 140 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair and facial hair, and tattoos with the words "mom," "dad" and "Mary" on his right arm. He also has a tattoo of a skull.
According to an RCMP press release, officers are unsure if Shephard and Noel are together at the moment, and do not know whether they are in New Brunswick or outside the province.
The release also warns that anybody found helping the pair could face charges themselves.
"Anyone who is helping these two evade police can be charged with accessory after the fact to commit first degree murder," Codiac Regional RCMP Sgt. Andre Pepin said in a statement.
The RCMP says Noel and Shephard are considered armed and dangerous and that they should not be approached.
