Suspected armed robbers wanted by Calgary police

Calgary police are looking for two men believed to be responsible for an armed robbery at a vape store.

Calgary police are looking to the public for help locating two suspects believed to be involved in two armed robberies last month.

The first robbery happened at Jerry’s Smoke and Vape in the 500 block of 17 Avenue S.W. at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 9.

Police say he left the vape shop with “several products” and got into the passenger side of a Dodge Ram 1500, which travelled west on 17 Avenue S.W.

Need to identify second suspect

Police are also looking for a second man who in the vape store at the time of the robbery, who investigators believe was “associated to the incident.”

Investigators released photos of the unnamed suspect on Thursday, in the hopes that someone can identify him.

He is described as 25 to 35 years old and approximately 5’11” to 6’1” tall (180 to 185 centimetres) with a medium build and a small amount of dark facial hair.

He was wearing a dark-green hoodie, a black LA Dodgers baseball hat, black pants and light-coloured shoes.

Second robbery

It’s alleged that about 15 minutes after the first robbery, Reynolds robbed a person outside the BMO located at 933 17 Ave. S.W.

The victim had just taken money out using an ATM.

Police allege that Reynolds threatened the victim with a gun while demanding the money and the victim’s cellphone.

“A small struggle occurred between the suspect and the victim before the victim was able to safely get away from the suspect,” police said in a Thursday news release.

The suspect subsequently fled in a 2017 white Dodge Ram pickup truck which was waiting, and drove south on Ninth Street S.W.

Reynolds is wanted on Canada-wide warrants for several offences including robbery, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and carrying a concealed weapon.

He is described as 6’5” tall (195 centimetres) and approximately 230 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on Reynolds’ whereabouts or the identity of the second suspect is asked to call police at 403-266-1234.

Police are warning the public to not approach either man, and instead call 911 if you see them.
