A snowfall warning was issued for Banff National Park near Lake Louise Friday afternoon.
Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) posted the warning for “portions of the Rockies and Foothills on Saturday, with total accumulations of 10 to 20 centimetres.”

It said flurries are expected to start early Saturday morning and become more steady by noon.
“Snowfall could accumulate rapidly, especially at areas of higher elevation, on Saturday afternoon and evening,” it added.
ECCC say the snow should taper off early Sunday morning.
Travel may be impacted, with reduced visibility at times in heavy snow.
