With spring weather outside, Environment Lethbridge is getting ready to host its annual Seedy Saturday event on April 5.
Vendors and exhibitors from all over southern Alberta will be set up at the main branch of the Lethbridge Public Library with their products on display.
Organizers say Seedy Saturday will provide a place for everyone in the community to share ideas and learn gardening practices.
The day will feature a seed swap, free workshops, demonstrations and a chance to ask a gardener a few questions.

“This time of year, I think a lot of people are itching to get outside and I think a lot of people right now are thinking about the cost of things and (while) gardening may not solve those problems, it can certainly give you some different options when it comes to things you can grow yourself,” said Kathleen Sheppard, Environment Lethbridge’s executive director.
Seedy Saturday runs from 1 to 4 p.m.
