The Calgary Roughnecks season ended Saturday in Halifax, where they were defeated in an NLL playoff game 16-12 by the Thunderbirds.
The Roughnecks suffered through a scoreless first quarter, while Halifax netted three to go up 3-0.
Brayden Mayea, Jesse King and Tyler Pace scored in the second but at
the half, Calgary trailed 8-3.
In the third, Calgary netted four goals and headed into the fourth quarter trailing 11-7, but both sides scored five in the final frame to end up 16-12 Thunderbirds.

The loss eliminated the Roughnecks from the playoffs, ending their 2024-25 NLL season.
