A man was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition following a crash near McKnight Boulevard on Wednesday afternoon.
The two-vehicle crash occurred in the 300 block of 48 Avenue N.E. around 3:15 p.m.
Police believe one of the drivers suffered a medical incident.
Eastbound lanes on McKnight Boulevard were closed for some time, but have since reopened.
Police asked drivers to use alternate routes and said to expect traffic delays in the area.
