Man convicted in Mariani murder sentenced

Robert Reitmeier was found guilty of second-degree murder in the beating death of Mark Mariani in 2010.

A self-proclaimed neo-Nazi convicted in the beating death of a man three years ago will spend more than a decade behind bars.

Robert Reitmeier was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of Mark Mariani on October 3, 2010.

Mariani was found dead in the parking lot of a strip mall along 16th Avenue N.W.

Reitmeier was convicted of the crime in November and on Tuesday he was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 13 years.

A co-accused in the case, Tyler Sturrup, has already been sentenced to life with no parole for 10 years.
