A last-minute rally scheduled for Calgary by Liberal Party leader Mark Carney was cancelled Sunday due to the tragedy that took place in Vancouver Saturday night.
Carney was originally scheduled to appear in Calgary at 5:30 p.m. Sunday on the final day before Monday’s federal election.
A rally in Richmond B.C. was also cancelled.
He’s also scheduled to appear in Edmonton and Saskatoon Sunday, both of which are still taking place.
At least 11 people were killed and more than 20 injured when a man drove into a crowd celebrating the Lapu Lapu Day festival in Vancouver on Saturday night.
