As expected, rain and then snow fell over most of southern Alberta on Monday, associated with a low-pressure system south of the border.
That low is continuing to track east, opening things up for more seasonal and stable conditions across Alberta and B.C.
Tuesday will include more sunshine, mild wind and daytime highs a few degrees below seasonal across southern Alberta.
An incoming ridge of high pressure will bring seasonal highs to the region on Wednesday with highs edging closer to 20 C for the start of the weekend.
