Police have surrounded a home in the southwest where they’re investigating a serious assault.
One person was transported to Foothills hospital Friday evening for what Calgary EMS says were multiple serious injuries.
Calgary police said they received several 911 calls about a man in physical distress at a residence. They arrived and discovered a man in his 40s wandering in the streets with his hands bound and face covered.
He had stab wounds and told officers he was assaulted at a nearby residence. Police cleared the house, but no other victims were found.
The scene is being held as investigators are there.
Police said it was a targeted attack.
They’re looking for the offenders.
