The annual Barrie Women’s Show wrapped at Bradford Greenhouses Garden Gallery in Springwater, where nearly four thousand local women gathered to shop local and explore self-care services.
The two-day event featured more than 200 unique vendors, local businesses and artisans who showcased their products and services. There were also guest speakers such as celebrity hairstylist Cindy Duplantis and happiness & wellness coach Dr. Gillian Mandich.
“[Attendees] can get pampered, get a makeover, their hair done, they can get some massages all that kind of fun stuff, it’s just a really feel-good day.” said Marissa Nazaruk, events and marketing manager for Bradford Greenhouses. “They can also shop local vendors, eat their hearts away, if they would choose to do so. It’s just a great day out to spend with friends and family and shop locally.”

Dr. Stacie Weber owns a cosmetic and facial rejuvenation clinic in Barrie and was one of the vendors. She says events like the annual Women’s Show are first steps to connecting with potential clients and patients.
“A lot of times people have thought about doing the treatments and services that I offer but they’re not sure that they’re ready to go ahead,” she said. “I still have patients who have been seeing me from shows I did almost 20 years ago.”
Nazaruk says she hopes to continue growing and improving the annual Barrie Women’s Show each year.
