One individual was arrested, and illicit drugs were seized after police executed a search warrant at an Elmvale residence this week.
According to Huronia West OPP, members of their Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) began a drug trafficking investigation after receiving numerous complaints from the public in relation to the Elmvale address.
Police say the CSCU formed grounds after several weeks of investigating that an identified occupant of the residence was believed to be selling cocaine and fentanyl.
Through the execution of their search warrant, fentanyl, cocaine, an air pistol and drug trafficking paraphernalia were reportedly seized by officers.
Police say five individuals were located inside the residence, and that one individual had two outstanding warrants. That individual was charged with possession of a schedule I substance.
