A typical January snowstorm is making its way across central Ontario today.
Some areas will see 15 to 30 centimetres, while others could be digging out from under 60 cm.
- School buses and vans have been cancelled in Simcoe County’s North Weather Zone Tuesday.
- School buses and vans in Zone 1, 2 and 3 have been cancelled by the Trillium Lakeland District School Board.
- School buses and vans are cancelled in Meaford, Thornbury and Owen Sound by Shared School Services Transportation.
Environment Canada is calling for snow squalls off Georgian Bay, which are expected to shift south later this afternoon or evening.
Lake effect snow will weaken and move out of the area Wednesday afternoon.
