A man from Richmond Hill is dead after a head-on crash between a VIVA transit bus and a truck in Markham on Thursday morning.
York Regional Police were called to Yonge Street south of Royal Orchard Boulevard around 7:30 a.m.
Police say the driver of the truck, a 25-year-old man from Richmond Hill, died at the scene.
The driver of the bus and several passengers suffered minor injuries.
Police continue to investigate the cause.
