More than 1K marijuana plants found at Holland Marsh farm

Hundreds of marijuana plants have been seized during a large bust in the Holland Marsh.

Officers with Toronto police and York Regional Police searched a farm along a stretch of Woodchoppers Lane, north of Jane Street on Tuesday in Kettleby.

Police say they found more than 1,000 marijuana plants and some weapons inside.

The discovery came as a result of a firearm possession case Toronto police were investigating.

Neighbours in the area say they’re shocked by the discovery, adding the residents had only moved in recently.

The investigation is ongoing.
