OPP charged a driver for allegedly having a blood alcohol level nearly four times the legal limit in the Town of Caledon last week.
At around 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, Caledon OPP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle around Ivan Avenue. Officers located the vehicle shortly thereafter, and police say the officers were led to believe the driver was impaired by alcohol based on their interaction.
A 41-year-old from Caledon was arrested and charged with impaired driving, blood alcohol concentration 80-plus. Their licence was suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear in an Orangeville court in mid-November.
