Trent-Severn Waterway's Lock 44 is back in action after being out of order for several hours.
On Tuesday, Parks Canada posted an alert to Facebook stating the Big Chute Marine Railway in Severn Township was temporarily inoperable until further notice.
According to the agency, the issue at Lock 44 stemmed from a power gate malfunction at a nearby power plant, which has since been resolved.

Parks Canada said staff were working to move boats through the lock to clear the backlog, noting boaters should expect delays.
The marine railway lifts vessels from the water on individual cradles, carries them over a hill on a track, crosses the road, and eases them back into the water.
The Big Chute Marine Railway is a popular destination for boaters.
