$400K worth of stolen trucks recovered: OPP

OPP says officers recovered $400,000 worth of stolen vehicles in Orangeville.

Police say they located $400,000 worth of trucks at a lot in Orangeville.

Dufferin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) launched a stolen-vehicle investigation Monday in the Riddell Road area.

With the assistance of the Dufferin, Caledon, and Nottawasaga community street crime units, a search warrant was executed, leading to the recovery of three stolen vehicles, police say.

When officers arrived at the address, they say they soon found a Freightliner tractor attached to a 53-foot trailer.

Police allegedly seized a 2024 White Freightliner Tractor with a value of $200,000, a 2020 Kenworth Tractor and Trailer worth $150,000, and a new Grey Ford Bronco Special Edition, valued at $80,000.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
