A pedestrian is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a vehicle allegedly hit them in Halifax Monday evening.

Halifax Regional Police says it responded to the collision at the intersection of Robie Street and Veterans Memorial Lane around 5:47 p.m. Officers learned the same vehicle was allegedly involved in another collision near Beech Street and Jubilee Road.

Police arrested the adult male driver for dangerous operation of a conveyance.
