Man, woman charged after Pictou home searched, drugs seized: N.S. RCMP

Two people are facing drug charges after police searched a home in Pictou County, N.S.

The RCMP says a man and a woman are facing charges after a home was searched in Pictou, N.S., last week.

Police executed an arrest warrant at the home on Dennon Steet in connection to an ongoing investigation on April 16.

Officers arrested 33-year-old Christine Holly Fraser of Eureka and David Allen Lemmon, 37, of River John at the scene.

Fraser was charged with two counts of failure to comply with order. She was also arrested on a New Glasgow Regional Police warrant.

Lemmon was charged with operation of a conveyance while prohibited and failure to comply with probation order.

A search warrant was executed at the home following their arrests.

Police say they seized cocaine, methamphetamine, cash, a replica handgun, and drug paraphernalia.

Fraser is facing the following additional charges after the search:

  • possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
  • possession for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine)
  • possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
  • possession of property obtained by crime
  • failure to comply with order

Both Fraser and Lemmon appeared in Pictou provincial court on April 17 and were remanded into custody.

Fraser is due back in court on May 14 and Lemmon will appear in court again on Tuesday.

Police say their investigation is ongoing.
