Halifax police seized loaded firearms, Taser during search

Halifax Regional Police seized several loaded firearms and a Taser from a Bedford, N.S., home as part of an ongoing investigation on Saturday.

Police say they searched a residence on the 0-50 block of Inspiration Drive, seizing the firearms and a functional Taser device.

Corez Kane Taijon Williams, 28, and Martino Maurice Williams, 20, were scheduled to appear in court on Monday to face charges of:

-possession of a prohibited weapon (Taser)

-unsafe handling of a firearm

-unsafe storage contrary to regulations

-possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose

-Carrying a concealed weapon

-unauthorized possession of a firearm

-unauthorized possession of a prohibited device (x 2)

-possession of a firearm knowing it is unauthorized

-possession of a prohibited device knowing it is unauthorized (x2)

-unauthorized possession in motor vehicle

-possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition

-possession of firearm obtained by commission of an offence

Rashaun Martino Allison, 26, will also face a charge of possession of a prohibited weapon.
