New Brunswick Premier Susan Holt spent Sunday meeting with leaders of several businesses and organizations while in Boston.
According to a news release Sunday, Holt conducted a roundtable with a group of New England businesses and participated in several meetings with other groups.
“The major goal of all these meetings was to find ways to support our New Brunswick economy and explore new opportunities with the New England business community,” said Holt in the release.

Holt has been attending the Seafood Expo of North America, which is being held in Boston. She, alongside Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries Minister Pat Finnigan, also met with a group of 60 New Brunswick exhibitors who are participating in the expo.

On Saturday, Holt and Prince Edward Island Premier Rob Lantz met with Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey to “stress the importance of the relationship between New Brunswick and the United States.”
According to Holt, that meeting was “productive.”
