Price of gas falls for the second day in a row in the Maritimes

The price of gas decreased in two Maritime provinces over the weekend.

The price of gas decreased again overnight in two Maritime provinces, while diesel did not change.

The adjustment comes following “significant shifts in the market prices.”

Nova Scotia

The price of regular self-serve gasoline decreased by 7.2 cents in the Halifax area. The minimum price is now 185.6 cents per litre.

Diesel prices did not change Saturday. The minimum price remains at 218.1 cents per litre.

The new minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline in Cape Breton is 187.6 cents per litre. The price of diesel remains at 220.1 cents per litre.

New Brunswick

The price of regular self-serve gasoline decreased by 6.2 cents in New Brunswick Saturday. The maximum price is now 195.1 cents per litre.

The price of diesel did not change. It is still 233.4 cents per litre.

Prince Edward Island

On P.E.I., the price of regular self-serve gasoline did not change Saturday. The minimum price is still 201.7 cents per litre.

The minimum price of diesel remains at 236.8 cents per litre.
