A 34-year-old Moncton man is facing charges in connection with two armed robberies at the same Subway restaurant.
The RCMP say the first incident happened at the restaurant on Mountain Road at 2:20 a.m. Sunday.
Police allege a man armed with a weapon entered the restaurant and demanded money. He fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Investigators believe the same man is responsible for a robbery that happened at the same restaurant a few hours later, at 7:30 a.m.
They say a man armed with a weapon fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of crash.
No one was injured during either incident.
The RCMP arrested a man in Moncton without incident.
Colin Scott is facing two counts of armed robbery. He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear in court on Wednesday.
