A 23-year-old Halifax man is facing charges in connection with a weekend stabbing at a nightclub in the city.
Halifax Regional Police were called to Taboo Nightclub on Grafton Street around 2:50 a.m. Sunday.
Police say the alleged victim was involved in an assault inside the club and, after being escorted out by staff, he realized he had been stabbed in the abdomen.
He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators identified a suspect, who was taken into custody after he turned himself in to police early Monday morning.
Alban Dullovi appeared in court Monday afternoon to face charges of aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
