Gas prices increase in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick

The price of gas increased overnight in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and decreased on Prince Edward Island.

Nova Scotia

In Nova Scotia, the price of regular self-serve gasoline increased by 0.7 cents. The minimum price in the Halifax area is now 163.8 cents per litre.

The price of diesel increased by 0.5 cents. The new minimum price is 191.9 cents per litre.

In Cape Breton, the minimum price of gas is 165.8 cents per litre for regular self-serve gasoline and 193.9 cents per litre for diesel.

Prince Edward Island

The price of gas on P.E.I. decreased by 0.6 cents per litre overnight. The minimum price is now 172.7 cents per litre.

The price of diesel did not change on the island. It remains at a minimum price of 200.8 cents per litre.

New Brunswick

The price for regular self-serve gasoline in New Brunswick increased by 1.2 cents to a new maximum price of 168.1 cents per litre.

Diesel prices decreased by 2.1 cents. The maximum price is now 195.3 cents per litre.
