Easter weekend begins with lower gas prices in the Maritimes

The prices of gas and diesel decreased for most areas in the Maritimes heading into the Easter weekend.

Nova Scotia

The price of regular self-serve gasoline did not change overnight. The minimum price in the Halifax-area remains at 135.2 cents per litre.

Diesel prices decreased by 2.2 cents. The new minimum price is 138.9 cents per litre.

The minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline in Cape Breton remains at 137.1 cents per litre. The minimum price of diesel decreased to 140.9 cents per litre.

Prince Edward Island

The price of regular self-serve gasoline on P.E.I. decreased by 2.5 cents, bringing the minimum price to 142.7 cents per litre.

Diesel prices also decreased by 2.5 cents. The new minimum price now sits at 149.8 cents per litre.

New Brunswick

The price of regular self-serve gasoline decreased by 3.5 cents in New Brunswick. The maximum price is now 138.8 cents per litre.

The price of diesel decreased by 2 cents, bringing the maximum price to 145.8 cents per litre.
