The Anaheim (don't call us "Mighty") Ducks had their all-time fictional coaching great backing them for Game 5 of the Western Conference final.

Actor Emilio Estevez, who played coach Gordon Bombay in Disney’s "Mighty Ducks" movies, took to social media to tweet his support for the real-life Ducks in their game against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Estevez played coach Bombay in three "Mighty Ducks" films in the 1990s. In the first film, he coaches the underdog Mighty Ducks peewee hockey team to victory over the heavily favoured Hawks.

Estevez had fun with the Ducks-Hawks playoffs "rematch,” tweeting "Quack! Quack!" at one point, and quoting lines from the films throughout the game.

The Ducks didn't execute any flying V formations for the game, but they did manage to put the Blackhawks on ice with a quick Matt Beleskey goal in overtime. The Ducks won the game 5-4 and took a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.

"Coach Bombay" had one final tweet after the win, in which he taunted Chicago supporters and called them "Windy City windbags."

The Walt Disney Company founded the NHL's Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in 1992, the same year the film came out. Disney used the film series to market their team, and also launched a short-lived cartoon based on the masked duck in the team logo. In "D2: The Mighty Ducks," coach Bombay's Team USA squad dons the NHL Mighty Duck jerseys for a championship game against Team Iceland.

Disney retained ownership of the Mighty Ducks for nearly a decade before selling the team in 2005. The new owners soon dropped the "Mighty" part of the name and redesigned the jerseys and logo to separate themselves from the Disney brand.
