The Waterloo Regional Police Service has arrested a Cambridge man as part of an investigation into sexual offences involving children. In October, police received a report about a man who was allegedly communicating with several teenaged girls. Investigators said they determined a suspect had reached out the victims in September and October and arranged to give them items in exchange for sexual services. Police said the victims range in age from 14 to 15. On Nov. 10, police arrested Nathanael Hall, a 39-year-old from Cambridge, and charged him with three counts of sexual assault, three counts of sexual interference, three counts of obtaining sexual services for consideration, two counts of invitation to sexual touching, three counts of luring a person under 16-years-old to facilitate sexual interference and two counts of luring a person under 18-years-old to facilitate child sexual abuse and exploitive material. These charges have not yet been tested in court. Investigators believe there could be more victims. Anyone with more information is urged to contact police at 519-570-9777, extension 8353.
