HALIFAX -- A man and a woman from Nova Scotia are pleading not guilty to committing indecent acts on board an Air Canada flight.
Court records say Jason George Chase, 39, and Alicia Elizabeth Lander, 25, are alleged to have participated in an indecent act in a public place on Jan 24.
Lander is also pleading not guilty to charges of assaulting a police officer and committing an act of mischief at the Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
Chase and Lander weren't in Dartmouth provincial court Tuesday for the plea, but their defence lawyers entered the not guilty pleas on their behalf.
Their trial has been set for Jan. 21.
Defence lawyer Lyle Howe, who represents Lander, said outside court that he and his client decided to plead not guilty after receiving disclosure from the Crown.
