A Quebec family reported missing last week has been located in Ontario.
Police said 33-year-old Erin Gray and her children, 11-year-old Rachel Kaya Beckles and 5-year-old Robert Clark Jr., of Chateauguay, Que., were found "safe and sound" early Sunday morning.
Chateauguay police did not release Gray's exact location out of respect for her privacy. No further details have been released, but in a statement released Sunday police said the case has come to a "happy ending."
Officers thanked the public and the media for help in locating the missing family.
Before they disappeared, Gray and her children were last seen in Kahnawake, Que., south of Montreal, on June 22.
Gray's sister, Ashley, said the family stopped by her house that day to pick up laundry and appeared to be in a rush to leave.
When Gray's mother, Jackie, went to the family's home the next day, it was in disarray. Clothes were missing, food had been left out on the counter and Gray's vehicle was gone.
Jackie said Gray had concerns that someone was stalking her. "She kept saying that somebody was following her," Jackie said. "I really didn't take it seriously. Maybe I should have."
