Massive Winnipeg fire sends 6 people, including 4 firefighters, to hospital

Two suspects seen in area of massive fire Investigators search for two suspects who, witnesses say, were leaving the area shortly before the fire broke out.

WINNIPEG - Six people were sent to hospital -- including four firefighters -- during a fire at a construction site in Winnipeg.

Officials say all of the victims are in stable condition.

They say the fire happened early Saturday at a new residential construction site in the Wolseley area and spread to two neighbouring homes.

The occupants all got out on their own before emergency personnel arrived.

The cause remains unknown and arson investigators are examining the scene.

Police are asking anyone with information about the fire to contact them.
