Customers of select KFC outlets in India can now charge their phones while they eat, thanks to the company's new "Watt a Box" takeout box option, launched on June 20.
KFC's takeaway boxes have been transformed into wireless cell phone charging stations, containing an inbuilt power bank and cables alongside your 5-in-a Meal Box, a combination of five choices from the KFC India menu. The "Watt a Box" has been created in partnership with Blink Digital.
The limited-edition boxes can be ordered via a week-long contest on KFC's India Facebook page, and at selected stores in Delhi and Mumba.
